From Weston County School District #1 Superintendent Brad LaCroix:The lockdown at Newcastle High School has ended. Law enforcement officials have completed their sweep of the building and given the all-clear. A weapon was recovered and the incident has been resolved without any injuries. Staff and students will resume normal activities and there will be no modifications to the daily schedule. School will recess at its normal scheduled time.
